Abstract
This paper focuses on the drafting of the Croatian Administrative Procedure Act, approved in 2009 by the Croatian Parliament and entered into force the following year. In doing so, the Author takes a comparative view of the main historical, legal and supranational influences that have shaped the piece of legislation, showing how the often overlooked relationship between tradition and change affect the transformation of administrative procedures.
