Abstract
The Piedmont regional law n. 27 of 8 November 2021 established the ORECOL, an internal control body of a collaborative nature which has the task of «verifying the correct functioning of the organizational structures of the Regional Government, evaluating the effectiveness of the internal control system, to supervise the transparency and regularity of the tenders stipulated by the Regional Government and by the in-house and regionally controlled bodies», supporting them in the formation and implementation of the corruption prevention plans. Will its practical implementation reflect the objectives set or will it be an additional public expense?
