Abstract
This essay analyzes the question of the recalculation of the annuities of regional politicians. In particular, the State legislator has recently forced the Regions to recalculate the existing pension benefits and some Regions have already adopted retroactive measures in the recalculation of them. These measures have raised many questions namely the division of competences between State and Regions, the role of the peculiar nature of the pension of regional politicians and, above all, the limits of the admissibility of retroactive measures with pejorative effects.
