Abstract

The article, starting from the recognition of the fundamental rights of foreigner contained in the Statute of the Calabria Region, intends to describe all the measures taken by the Calabrian legislator to allow the insertion of the immigrant into the regional community. After briefly reconstructing state and regional legislative competences on the matter, the analysis also examines the effects of the innovations introduced by Decree Law 113/2018 (now L. 132/2018) on the exercise of legislative powers and administrative functions of the Regions with regard to the reception of immigrants.
