Abstract
The work reconstructs the events that led to the elaboration, at national level, of the principles relating to the reform, by the regions, of the pension treatments of the former regional councilors, on the basis of a contributory recalculation system. The work then analyzes the discipline adopted in this matter by the Piedmont region, also considering the problems that this affair has highlighted with regard to the relations between the regional council and the regional executive branch.
