Abstract

The Information System Risk Map is undergoing a new phase of development of topics about the dangers of the area and the risk of monuments, dealing not only with the three domains (static-structural, environmental-air, anthropic) - characterizing, since the 90s, the start up of the system - but also emphasizing the seismic category. New models for the calculation of seismic risk have been linked to indicators of seismic hazard, updated with the vulnerability and exposure informations derived from a new line of seismic data (VS). The new card has been differentiated for 3 different types of goods (1-buildings, 2-towers/steeples, 3-churches/theaters/complex building systems). The reason for the choice of the 3 types approach lies in the patterns of vulnerability (feasible only for those types). The main aims were the carrying out of an initial survey on a sample example of monuments in Sicily and Calabria, involving a total of about 3150 goods presenting in-depth aspects of anamnesis-seismic construction and the control of the response of microtremors to environmental noise. The census and the tab are in accordance with the «Guidelines for the assessment and mitigation of seismic risk of the cultural heritage in relation to technical standards for construction », now become a «Directive of the President of the Council of Ministers » (12/10/2007). All this is intended as a first step in accordance with the aforementioned Directive.
