Abstract
The Sant'Anna Hospital in Turin is one of the oldest and largest gynecological- obstetric hospitals in Europe. It becomes the first hub of Fondazione Medicina in Misura di Donna Onlus, which collaborates with public institutions in the path of scientific research and technological innovation. The Foundation combines training and information, starting from promoting health through better lifestyles, in which culture plays an important role. It also meets the hospital staff needs to improve environmental care conditions. The Onlus has developed the «Culture & Health» cooperative research-action platform - along with the University of Turin and the Sant'Anna hospital itself - in order to carry out experimental and innovative projects, like Arts Yard (dealing with the aesthetic quality of hospitals), Musical Vitamins (accompanying oncological therapies) and Born with Culture.
