Abstract
The article describes the main aspects concerning the testings of different policy measures aimed at fighting poverty implemented in Italy, starting from the introduction of the Minimum income in 1999-2000 to the experimentation of the New Social Card in 2014-2015. In so doing, after reviewing the main peculiar elements and critical issues related to the analysed measures, it proposes an overview on a compared analysis of the implementation of the New Social Card in 6 Italian cities.
