Abstract
In their contribution to the Discussion, the authors first insist on the fact that the history of professional ethics is important to understand the context that led to the codes of ethics in psychological research. They then focus on the problems between the ethical committee and researchers, such as bureaucracy and loss of time. Furthermore, because of their importance to the research, the authors highlight that ethics codes are also educational tools to help researchers plan their research, so, there is the need to implement this knowledge in doctoral courses in psychology
