Abstract
There is a growing tendency among publishers not to publish the psychometric properties that clinicians need to score tests. This practice not only violates the deontological code of psychologists, but also prevents professionals from doing their jobs properly and does not allow professors and researchers to use these instruments in teaching and research practice. In this paper, we focus on the most recent version of the Wechsler scales, the WISC V test, published by Giunti Psychometrics without normative data and with online scoring only. We show the limitations of this approach in clinical practice and describe some cases where the clinician cannot work without normative data.
