Abstract
This article explores the analogies between social media use, video games use, and online pornography, highlighting the need to clarify the different terms, to arrive at a precise definition of the symptoms and therefore a real diagnosis of addiction. The diagnosis is essential to evaluate and work on the negative consequences such as internalizing symptoms. Finally, the lines of intervention for situations at risk of addiction involving parents, teachers, and psychologists are presented
