Abstract
The outcome in adolescence and young adulthood of children (DP) diagnosed as dyslexic during the early years of school was examined with respect to life satisfaction and educational level. This sample was compared to a group of adult who were diagnosed later (DT). The assessment was carried out by means of questionnaires and personal interviews. The results showed lower life-satisfaction in group DT and early diagnosis may be a good predictor of quality of life.
