Abstract

The authoress analyzes the theme of adolescent awkwardness describing the development lines in the study of family relationals inside systemic relational approach. The research in family psichological field has pointed out a differentation between "functional" and "unfunctional" family that concerns some areas like: the resolution strategy of conflicts; a comunication style; the possibility to balance privacy and distance in the family relationships and the possibility to create clear generational boundaries. There are proposed some clinic cases, as esemplification in relation to the subject discussed, where the manifestations of adolescent awkwardness expressed by different subjective emergency manifestations are correlated to unfuctional family dynamics.
