Abstract

This paper intends to describe the adolescent role in the separated and divorced families, through the results of a clinic research. We have taken out a pre-adolescent (26) and adolescent (28) sub-sample from a larger sample which consisted of 153 minors. These minors have been met by judicial specialist consultants, to asses the best condition custody and the adolescent functioning wellbeing. We have analysed the sub-sample's peculiarities (data refer to what has been reported by the specialist consultant in the final report for judge). One of the main results is the adolescent active role inside the separated families; this role is acknowledged by parents and consultants.
