Abstract
This article celebrates artists, healers, activists, researchers, agriculturists, and designers on reservations, quilombos, or villages in Brazil. Among them are Neide Antunes de Sa, Busan Huni Kuin, and Jera Guarani, artists who do not allow themselves to be limited by Western concepts and categorizations. While creating they continue to respond to the requirements of the survival of their communities, and that, too, can be art.
