Abstract
This paper analyses populist discourses in the 1990s pronounced by Umberto Bossi and Silvio, who are generally referred to as Right-wing populist. The author focuses on one hand on the seduction strategies and rhetorical means used in these speeches, and on the other on the main emerging themes, with the help of the software Sketch Engine and Leximancer. The aim of this research is individuating whether these texts are characterized by traits d’union that go back to populism.
