Abstract
The contribution relates to the analysis of Renzo's vineyard event in chapter 33 of the "Promessi Sposi". The piece is analyzed within its intertextual structure and evaluated within its narrative details which have created it, in particular those related to Manzoni's concept of realism. The interpretation promotes the symbolic and intertextual perspective. In particular, it raises attention to the visual theme and to the rhetorical technique of the "enumeraciòn caòtica", marked on the recurring use of key-words, typically used by Manzoni to emphasize chaos, disorder, maze of life.
