Abstract
Comparative law has significantly evolved, now encompassing a wide range of themes and legal systems beyond Western traditions. Diritto pubblico comparato e europeo has accompanied this transformation. This shift highlights that Western conceptions of law do not universally apply in our multipolar world. The current essays show that alternative forms of normativity can challenge or overcome Western legal models in governing social life, beyond their diffusion or transplantation. Comparative law must embrace this diversity and develop methodologies to analyze global legal practices effectively. The field's future depends on its ability to adapt, innovate, and provide a comprehensive understanding of law across diverse cultural and societal contexts.
