Abstract
The essay focuses on Podemos as the most important emerging anti-party party in the Spanish context. In order to highlight the reason that led to its success, the Author analyses the Spanish political system, the political consequences of the economic crisis, and the strong decrease of the people's confidence in political actors. Then he deals with the main characters of Podemos, its political and ideological orientation and the consequences of it success in the last local elections.
