Abstract

The article is developed in seven parts. In the first and second part epistemological questions are synthesized, while in the third one the contribution of natural sciences to the comparison is analyzed. The fourth part concerns the heuristic function of the State in legal taxonomies. The fifth part describes the general characteristics of contemporary taxonomies and the theme of their effectiveness. The sixth paragraph analyzes the role of the Constitutions as necessary variables for the contemporary juridical comparison, due to the existence of different «constitutional politics». The seventh part examines the usefulness of taxonomies in the face of supranational processes and ecosystemic problems.
