Abstract
This essay investigates the “Paradigm Shiftµ of the analytical line of Conceptual Art as it was conceived in the late 1960s and in the early 1970s by Joseph Kosuth and Art & Language. The topic focuses in particular on the symmetries between the works and theories of these artists and the pivotal sources of the Analytic Philosophy and the Philosophy of Science. The aim is to shed light on the role played by these references in their critical practice against Modernism, albeit in the objective interest shown towards the key paradigms of modern art
