Abstract

This paper points out the relevance of the relationship between Wittgenstein and Sraffa, starting from an analysis of the latest research on this topic and taking into account the role of the "Sraffa Papers", letters, documents and testimonies, in particular Steinvorth's work. The goal is to scrutinize those aspects of Wittgenstein's new philosophy which could be connected with his conversations with Sraffa throwing light on their relationship and the difficulties of clarifying and reconstructing it. The result will be a preliminary study of the Sraffa's influence on Wittgenstein.
