Abstract

The Hegelian Croce does not find «historical philosophy» in Marx and does not remember what the "young Croce" maintained about the «comparative sociological economics» and the «historical conception» that «enlivens the whole work of Marx». Croce does not appreciate Hegel's and Spaventa's metaphysics of experience and, hence, he does not develop a real alternative to actualism and to «abstract hegelianism».
