Abstract
The goal of this work is to build a multi-disciplinary approach to the analysis of the language of power. The author does not focus on singular personalities and historical events (such as, for example, the language of the Third Reich or of Mussolini); he analyzes how languages and codes are used to achieve specific purposes. In any talk-show, or in any conference, it is often possible to listen to politicians using concepts vague and abstract, often fragmentary, winning, however, the audience's favor. In other words, they might say nothing, but they say it in an appealing way. And the obscurity becomes a strength and a sign of authoritativeness.
