Abstract

The drastic change of political scenario occurred with the elections of 4 March 2018 introduces substantial new elements in terms of political representation in relation to both leadership construction and constituency communication. This work intends to explore the characteristics of MPs constituency communication while the M5S is in power, analyzing a) the structured and non-structured communication on Facebook; b) the role that the individual M5S representatives are taking in the various arenas due to the requests coming from the government, the territories, the media, and from the Movement itself; c) the communicative space that they occupy within the popular social media.
