Abstract

This contribution is devoted to the exploration of the context of inquiry and the methodological perspectives that are the basis of the scientific research carried out within LAILA project and presented in this Focus. The purpose of the paper is twofold. On the one hand, it aims to shed light on the legal scenario of International protection, discussing fundamental notions and relevant elements, in terms of substantive and procedural law, useful for circumscribing the scopes of the research. On the other hand, it aims to present different methodological paradigms and approaches adopted and combined to realise qualitative and quantitative analyses of judicial decisions
