Abstract
This article pays tribute to the late legal philosopher Francesca Zanuso by discussing some of her main philosophical tenets in bioethics. Special attention is paid to her ideas on the role of dialogue as a means by which to reach the truth in normative issues, on the relevance of human desires as a foundation of basic rights in general and procreative rights in particular, and on the place of technology in human life.
