Abstract
This article constitutes an attempt to intercept some of the main red threads running through David Graeber’s production, in order to reclaim the most transversal theoretical knots, on which the anthropologist’s militant posture is underpinned. The aim is to try to collect, specifically, some important suggestions regarding the theme of social creativity and the inevitably connected topic of the relationship between freedom and power. At the root of his most tenacious positions on the subject are certain propositions around the categories of structure and value. In particular, the author’s engagement with the Marxian and Maussian legacies will be discussed.
