Abstract
An inscription coming from the territory of Augusta Taurinorum, from the hills of Lanzo Torinese (Germagnano) is presented with relevant in-depth perspectives aimed at reconstructing family genealogies and inter-gentileties, starting from the economic vocations and the methods of intervention of the city authorities, in an attempt to recover to the full dignity of a historical source every testimonial series available and to trace a model of interpretation of the territory that goes beyond the exclusive attention to local cursus and higher careers. An in-depth study of onomastics (Marci, Stonnus or Stonnius, Att) allows us to retrace the lines of transmission of the Celtic tradition, the relationships with Noricum and Gaul, with an original reflection on the many other personal attested in the Ager Taurinus between Orco and Stura (Bitonus, Cimonia, Cintullus, Cintulus, Coemia, Clubus, Clubusius, Diutto, Ducus, Duno, Iuantugenus, Maca, Macco, Maconus, Matonia, Mogetius, Sariena, Stonicius, Vecatus, Velagenus/-ius, Veriouna).
