Abstract
This article analyses the script of the Harleian Livy (London, British Library, Harley 2493) in comparison with Petrarch’s earliest attempts at formal script (Paris, BNF lat. 2201 and Vat. Lat. 2193). The comparison allows us to exclude the possibility that the supplements to the Harley MS are in Petrarch’s hand
