Abstract
This contribution surveys the MS tradition of ser Giovanni’s ‘Il Pecorone’, which has been enriched by the discovery of previously unknown witnesses. There are four complete and seven incomplete copies, which have been described in detail. This evidence will provide the basis for the forthcoming edition with commentary. Of the 14th-century collections of this type this has been the only one without such an edition.
