Abstract
The article, a written version of the prolusion delivered at Casa di Dante (Rome) on May 7, 2023, aims to investigate some aspects of the theme of justice in Dante’s work from the special specula of the history of law, trying both to detect its nuances more in line with the medieval tradition and to show some of its features closer to the sensitivity of modern readers.
