Abstract

The article attempts to reconstruct the primacy of theological life in the so-called "non-practicing" Christians, who due to their particular position within the Church we will call «poised Christians». The dynamism of their faith, which at times remains implicit, allows them to access the experience of God through the Holy Spirit in their multiple existential experiences. Even if their baptism takes place far from visible and official cultic expression, they are able to contribute to the growth of tradition through the "sensus fidei" that is at work in their daily life. The "sensus fidei" of these poised baptized persons allows the Church to access a deeper evangelical hermeneutics in order to initiate new practices of ecclesial life and belonging.
