Abstract

One hundred and twenty years after the birth of Karl Rahner and forty years after his death, still in 2024, the Jesuit does not stop filling a prominent place in contemporary theological prospect. For this occasion, in the awareness of the challenge that the Jesuit, even today, is for Christian and contemporary thought, the contribution intends to offer a synthetic perspective, which concerns the question of «absolute Savior»; this is the core of his Christocentrism, and the need for a change of direction because Christianity can be significant for today.
