Abstract

This brief note returns to the issue of the second (in chronological order) vernacularisation of Giovanni Boccaccio’s De mulieribus claris, now believed to be the work of the friar Antonio di San Lupidio. Its purpose is to clarify and, in several places, to correct recent assertions now published on the subject
