Abstract

The paper aims to outline the extraordinary eminence of Ezio Raimondi as a wonderful intellectual and human figure and as one of the most innovative and farsighted magister and critic of Twenty Century. The author tries to piece together the most significant moments of his methodological and hermeneutic lesson, that was able to open the ground of the ancient philology to the reasons of literary theory and critic, of the reception theory, up to the recent problems of the Digital Humanities. This effort was made by Raimondi to find an always new and inexhaustible meaning that literary text have to take in the eyes of the reader.
