Abstract
This essay reprints some articles about political and theatrical notes from the journal Il Diavoletto (Catania, 1864), concerning Nicolò Niceforo and probably Giovanni Verga. Moreover, there is a text from Il Leone di San Marco (Catania, 1864) about Il Diavoletto and in the end of this essay there is a review about Verga’s work I carbonari della montagna from Museo di Famiglia (1862).
