Abstract

With the advent of the digital age the relationship between writing and the means we have to write is changing. The use of smartphones, tablets, notebooks, constantly connected to the Internet and easy to use, can create the illusion that it is convenient to do without any physical approach to reality. However, the "good writing" (in fiction and in non-fiction) always comes from the ability to intercept the world, from the knowledge of the "others" and empathy towards them.
