Abstract
Sociality in the 21st century is increasingly achieved through online media. However, the shift from the Internet to social networking platforms also represents a shift from a collaboratively developed common good to a private space where rules and conditions are unilaterally decided by very few and very big companies. The pandemic has accentuated this process and made it urgent to reflect on who today holds the power to shape our social relationships in the digital world
