Abstract

The article explores the increasingly intricate dialogue between sexuality and gender identity in relation to identifications, desires and bonds that, in various forms, unite us and simultaneously separate us, giving shape and foundation to the self. Such a dialogue is a manifestation of transgenerational experiences, but also of the new variegated psychic configurations. Understanding the interweavings and connections that shape such narratives and configurations is fundamental to exploring and grasping the contemporary context in which we are all immersed.
