Abstract
The work focuses on certain dissonances between body and mind – specifically sexual repudiation and gender dysphoria – and explores their origins, a combination of natural and cultural. The author reflects on the type of infantile at the origin of sexual repudiation and gender dysphoria, emphasizing how profound early nuclei are intertwined with defensive organization in these manifestations, connected to the inability to deal with adolescent conflict due to previous narcissistic deficiencies; and how they are related to the profound sociocultural transformations of recent decades
