Abstract
The advent of digital artefacts, the use of social media and of smartphones revolutionized our life-styles, as recently made even more evident by the COVID-19 pandemics. That urges for a better neuroscientific understanding of how digital artefacts affect people’s subjectivity and social connectedness. The present contribution proposes some preliminary considerations on these topics.
