Abstract

The current regulation concerning education and qualification of restoration operators is still disjointed. Moreover, it proves to be unable of identifying these professions. Overlapping rules, hard interactions with contracts for public works regulation can be considered underlying causes of these difficulties, along with the complexity of any transition towards education and qualification systems based on strict regulation.
