Abstract

The d.m. (Decree of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Tourism (MIBACT)) 23 January 2016 for the reorganization of the MIBACT introduces significant changes to the central and peripheral structures of the Ministry; in particular it consolidates the existing General Departments of "Archeology" and "Fine Arts and Landscape" into the new General Department of "Archeology, fine arts and landscape" and unifies the existing Superintendent Agencies for "Archeology" and "Fine Arts and Landscape" into new Superintendent Agencies for "Archeology, fine arts and landscape". The paper discusses the novelties and prospects of the enacted reorganization.
