Abstract

The article focuses on issues related to the reuse of cultural heritage images and data owned by public bodies and in public domain. It examines the new regulatory framework following the enactment of recent EU legislation on both copyright in the Digital Single Market and open data and reuse of public sector information. The article also considers the premises and implications of limits envisaged on the use of cultural heritage images and data for commercial purposes.
