As a periodical of history and historiography, it represents a rich soil on which academic scholars and Italian and foreign experts have a confrontation about scientific-historiographical themes regarding modern and contemporary age. The journal publishes original individual researches, which can be specific or multidisciplinary, mostly linked to this subject’s academic courses or PhDs. Some issues develop around a monographic theme, if not totally, at least in the main section.
