Abstract

By Provincial Government Resolution n. 1233 of August, 21 st , 2020, the «Guidelines for Civic and Citizenship Education in the Province of Trento» have been adopted, in execution of art. 3 of Italian Law n. 92 of August, 20 th , 2019, and of Decree n. 35 of Ministry of Education of June, 22 nd , 2020. The same Provincial Government Resolution provides for the introduction of «actions for support of school management and teaching staff in the launch of the new subject» by IPRASE (Provincial Institute for Educational Research and Experimentation) as well as monitoring aimed at enhancing the «active participation of schools in identifying competency goals and learning objectives at both first and second level of instruction in the various fields of study». The present contribution outlines the general features of the support action by IPRASE and notes progress to date, considering that further activities will continue for the next three years.
