Abstract
In recent years, the fallout of the global financial and economic crisis led to widespread cuts in public spending. Among the hardest-hit sectors there is certainly the University system. The policies adopted, which actually redesign the look of the National University system, leave many doubts about the possible negative effects on the social and economic fabric of the country.
