Abstract
In this essay written in 1994, Donna Haraway first employs the figuration of the cat’s cradle game, which she will return to many years later in her latest book, Staying with the Trouble (2016). This text has a strongly methodological intent: the purpose is to offer those positioned in the field of Feminist Studies, Technoscience Studies, Cultural Studies, a box of knots rather than tools. The cat’s cradle game becomes the figuration of a tangle of knowledges and practices that Haraway proposes to make difference differently, an epistemological detour but also a political and transformative intervention in the worlding of the world
