Abstract
"What makes a person?" This question is posed by broad sectors of the current scientific and philosophical research. The choices, strategies, and approaches in the social-juridical, medical, bioethical, genetic research fields, as well as in the political or religious spheres can depend on the answer to this question. There is a deeply-felt epistemologic need to define the structure and shape of individual realities whose nature cannot only be material or physical-organic.
